Market Preview March 8, 2018 - Every Thursday 2-6 pm - Downtown Rockmart

March has arrived at the Rockmart Farmers Market. Fresh Mushrooms from Bella Vita Mushroom will be at market along with Ms. Sue's baby curly kale and turnip greens along with green onions, spinach, and dinosaur kale. The rain has delayed Spreading Oaks crops for another 3 weeks but spring is still showing up at market.

Our canners and bakers have been busy as well. Robillard Farm has fresh ground wheat bread, Robert's Sweets and Treats will have fried pies, and That Foreign Chick's Bakery has an assortment of baked goods and breads. Look for Suga's pimento cheese varieties as well.

Morning Glory Farm, Ms. Sue, and Dewey all have canned goods from jams and jellies to pickles and chow-chow. Pickled eggs and veggies along with soups and syrups.

Morning Glory Farm and Timberland Farm can take care of your locally produced meat needs with grass-fed beef along with pork, chicken, and lamb. Farm fresh eggs, local honey, and boiled p-nuts will also be in attendance.

If the weather on market day is cold and rainy the market may be held inside the Trailhead Building located behind the regular market location. Only if it's cold and rainy... See you at market!
