Understanding Mother Nature's timeline is never an exact science. The rain effected the strawberry harvest and we must wait another week for strawberry season to begin. Spreading Oaks Farm will be at market this week with Tuscan and curly kale, collard greens, radishes, green onions, dandelion greens,Swiss chard, and the first of the lettuces. Bella Vita Mushrooms will be bringing fresh mushrooms including oyster varieties and lion's mane.

Ms. Sue will be back to market this week with her canned goods, baked goods, and spring vegetables. Morning Glory Farms will have all their baked goods, fresh eggs, jams and jellies, pork, beef, chicken, and lamb along with dried herbs and boiled p-nuts. Be sure to pick up some of Dewey's fried pies from Robert's Sweets and Treats and pimento cheese varieties from Suga's along with fresh bread from That Foreign Chick's Bakery.

Try some of Footehills Farmhouse bath products along with their goat pet milk products and plenty of fresh herbs. Ms. Adrianna with Timberland Grass-fed beef will have all the beef cuts but Brooke with Robilland Farm will miss this week and will be back next week.
