Once the green onions have arrived at market you know that spring is here. This week look for kale, turnip greens, green onions, and spinach. Bella Vita Mushroom will have fresh mushrooms in several varieties so be sure to try something new! Footehills Farm will have plenty of homemade bath products along with fresh herbs.
Ms. Sue will be at market with all her canned goods from soups to pickled eggs to chow-chow. Morning Glory Farms will be in attendance with jams and jellies, fruit syrups, boiled p-nuts, dried herbs, and baked goods. Of course be sure to check out Robert's Sweets and Treats fried pies.
Ms. Adrianna with Timberland Farms will have all the cuts of grass fed beef and look for Morning Glory's pork, chicken, lamb, and beef. Robillard farm will have fresh ground wheat bread and raw cow pet milk products and always pick up some pimento cheese from Suga's.
